We reached 2013 after two years of severe drought.
Thre previous winter was cold and before the budding was plenty of rain.
The budding was around the half month of April.
The flowering was late, it began in July due to the months of May and June were very cold. It continued raining until June with low temperatures. During the summer months there were some isolated storms.
These climate conditions delayed the vine cycle, which reached the ripening almost with three weeks of delay.
It was not a year of homogenuous ripening and it was necessary to harvest in a selective way, waiting for each vineyard reached its optimum moment.
