Technical data:

Grape varieties:

83% Tempranillo, 17% Garnacha

Grape harvest:

From the 1st to the 25th of October.

Fermentation:

In French oak vats, with controlled temperature.

Ageing:

In French oak barrels, 1/3 new, 1/3 second use and 1/3 more uses. 24 months in barrels and 12 months in bottles.

Stabilization:

By natural methods, clarification using only egg whites, without filtration. Due to this process can appear precipitates.

Alcohol:

13,5% Vol.

 

Harvest:

  • A very dry and healthy year.
  • A light frost on the 13th of April.
  • 410 mm. of precipitations in the vine-growing year. A rainfall of 35,6 mm. on the 23rd of September relieved the drought.
  • The grape was recovered with a positive hydration.
