Technical data:
Grape varieties:
92% Tempranillo, 5% Garnacha, 3% Graciano
Vineyards:
Bush vines over 30 years old, yields limited to 1,5 kgs. per vine.
Grape harvest:
From the 3rd to the 30th of October.
Fermentation:
In French oak vats, with controlled temperature.
Ageing:
In 50% brand new and 50% second use, French oak barrels. 16 months in barrels and 20 months in bottles.
Stabilization:
Completely natural methods, clarification using only egg whites.
Alcohol:
14% Vol.
Harvest:
A huge drought in summer.
During 14 days, the temperatures have risen above 30ºC.
482,5 mm. of precipitations in the vine-growing year.
An excellent response of the vineyards with depth roots, specially the old vineyards with no much production.
A very rainy winter, a usual spring and a very dry summer.
