Technical data:
Grape varieties:
95% Tempranillo, 5% Garnacha
Vineyards:
Bush vines over 30 years old, yields limited to 1,5 kgs. per vine.
Grape harvest:
From the 12th to the 22nd of October.
Fermentation:
In French oak vats, with controlled temperature, 28º - 30º.
Ageing:
1/3 brand new, 1/3 second use and 1/3 more uses, French oak barrels. 24 months in barrels and 12 months in bottles.
Stabilization:
Completely natural methods, clarification using only egg whites.
Alcohol:
12,5% Vol.
Packaging:
Cardboard cases of 12 bottles.
Bottles produced:
1.277 bottles of 37,5 cl, 20.984 bottles of 75 cl and 188 bottles of 1,5 l.
Harvest:
Atlantic harvest.
A very rainy year. No sunny.
731 mm. of precipitations in the vine-growing year from November to October.
In June there was 165 mm. of precipitations and in October 150 mm.
