In the late 80’s, a new generation renews the vine

and wine sector. Carmen Daurella and Mario Rotllant arrived

in La Rioja with the firm intention of creating a project able

to provide the world of winemaking with something new.

This is where a fascinating, ambitious, exigent and

unprecedented adventure began: Bodegas RODA.

Bodegas RODA, Best Winery of the Year

Bodegas RODA has been selected as Best Winery of the Year at the Verema 2023 Awards. The results in the rest of the categories in which the winery was present are as follows:

- Agustín Santolaya, second place, Wine Character

- CIRSION 2020, third place, Best Red Wine

Three wines, three origins

"Three wines, three origins" is the new experience that you can enjoy at Bodegas RODA. A tasting to experience and appreciate the differences between two great wines from Rioja, one from Ribera del Duero and the perfect combination of these with cocoa.

R&D Projects

Bodegas Roda S.A., as part of its business strategy, has since 1998 drawn up a policy supporting scientific research, development and technological innovation as a means towards the continual improvement of its competitiveness and growth, the result of which has been the definition and development of successive tri-annual plans of research and development.

I+D+i Roda

Bodegas RODA has received the Sustainable Wineries for Climate Protection certification. It is developed by the Spanish Wine Federation (FEV) and was born in 2015 as the first and only specific certification for wineries in terms of environmental sustainability. The SWfCP certification is aimed at the continuous improvement and sustainability of wineries, acting on four fundamental pillars: Environmental, Social, Economic and Governance.
