The year of mildew. 627 mm. rainfall, 384 mm. of which occurred in spring and only 5 mm. in July, August and September altogether.
A widespread outbreak of mildew across the region during the spring and early summer reduced the harvest. Remarkable maturation with dry and sunny weather. Late harvest, limited production of very high quality.

Colour:
Almost impenetrable with purple notes.
Nose:
Great complexity, very small black ripe fruits but fresh among them blackberries, blueberries and blackcurrants.
Palate:
Wide and complex in the mouth with a tremendous volume where the aromas of small black and fresh fruits are very present. Very soft integrated tannins.
The wine shows its power and at the same time its silkiness. Very long lingering finish. A wine with a very strong and elegant personality.
