CLIMATIC CYCLE
A very dry winter, with 73 mm. rainfall from November, 2007 to February, 2008.
Spring arrived with rain and in May it rained all month. Between March and June there was 443,5 mm. rainfall which matches the total yearly rainfall in La Rioja many years, with 206 mm. just in May.
During the summer there was virtually no rain, only 44 mm. were collected between July and September. We did not see a single raindrop in August. The peculiarity of the summer, in addition to drought was the cold weather, little sunshine and cool temperatures. Fortunately, the autumn was spectacular, with sunny days and cool nights.
An ancient harvest, healthy grapes with excellent acidity, with good ripeness, although containing less sugar. The wines are perhaps lighter than those of other vintages, yet full of life. An Atlantic vintage which will bring back memories of other times.

Palate:
Good volume, fresh and with many hues. It advances deep down with the pleasant of the fine and well ripe tannins. Long and with good acidity wine with full, elegant, spice and fresh aftertaste. It appreciated the cold year of slow ripening and Atlantic profile. Long wine of vertical character.
