RODA
Represents of one the two profiles of the ripening of Tempranillo: the red fruit.
In RODA we look for the parcels that that year have ripened in a red fruit profile, with the expression of the aromas present in the edge of the glass, ready to be felt immediately; with sweet spice notes and a kind freshness. In the mouth the red fruit carries the importance, with a fresh, long, silky, voluptuous and continuous mouth pass. Before vintage 2002, RODA was called RODA II.

TASTING

Colour:

Medium layer, red background and edging with evolution in the line of orange tones.

Nose:

With good intensity, in the profile of ripe fruit, with a point of liquor and the sensation of herbal candies.

It is less evolved on the nose than one might expect from looking at the color.

The memory is the fine herb caramel and the cherry in liqueur.

Palate:

It is very silky, of medium volume with the sensation of red fruit, in this case ripe cherry and aromatic herbs.

Despite having a Mediterranean character, there is freshness in the wine.

Tasting held in Haro on March 29th, 2017
